YOUNG TOWNSHIP â€”There were no injuries reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday near Nelsonâ€™s Mini-Mart on Route 119 north, Young Township.
According to Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police, a Dodge Neon driven by Elise V. Butler, Punxsutawney, was traveling north on Route 119 when traffic was stopped ahead, and she struck the rear of a Ford Ranger driven by Leonard T. Lang, Rochester Mills.
Police said Langâ€™s vehicle was stopped in traffic waiting for another vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn into the mini-mart parking lot, and Butler was unable to stop in time.
According to police, there were no injuries, and Butlerâ€™s vehicle, which sustained disabling damage, was towed from the scene by Walkerâ€™s Towing.
Police were assisted at the scene by Jefferson County EMS and the Lindsey Fire Company.
