Nina Marie Humble, 95

Nina Marie Humble, 95, of Hamilton, Pa., died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at
Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 26, 1918, in Byrnedale, Pa., the daughter of the late Ward and Elodie (Burke) Gardner.

She was married to Ira Humble, who preceded her in death.

She worked as an assembler for the Syvania Corp. in St. Marys.

She is survived by three sons, John Humble and wife Betty of Mahaffey, Ronald Humble and wife Susan of Punxsutawney and David Humble and wife Betty of Hamilton; and two daughters, Gayle Williams of Punxsutawney and Lois Adams and husband Russell of Punxsutawney.

She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Emily Grube and Helen Kromer; four brothers; and by two granddaughters.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today with Pastor Bill Young officiating.

Interment will follow at Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.

The family requests that donations in memory of Mrs. Humble be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
