PUNXSUTAWNEY — A new member of the Punxsutawney Area School Board said at Tuesday's meeting that the board needs to look at some improvements to be made to Jack LaMarca Stadium.

Dr. Frank Bizousky, board member, said that everything at the site dates back to the 1960s.

"I think this is kind of an embarrassment; there are many people who accompany the visiting team to our games and see the condition it is in," Bizousky said, adding that he's hearing about fund balances and capital improvement funds and asked if some of that money should be invested in the stadium.
