The Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company took possession of its new 2011 Ferrara engine/pumper Thursday. The vehicle possesses a 1,500-gallon pump for 1,000 gallons of water, as well as a 30-gallon compressed air foam system. If the weather works out, you could see the new truck during “Touch the Truck” as part of Saturday’s “Pizza & Prevention” downtown.
