Nellie Elizabeth Postlewait, 98, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at her home.

She was born Dec. 28, 1911, in Corsica, a daughter of the late John M. and Della (McKinley) Love.

She was married to William M. Postlewait, who preceded her in death in April 1987. Mrs. Postlewait was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Punxsutawney.

Surviving relatives include a son, John Postlewait and wife Peggy of Mayport; three daughters, Janet Haag and husband Harvey of Clearfield, Linda Johansen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Bonnie Titus and husband Paul of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, William Love, Harry Love, Howard Love and an infant brother; and two sisters, Mary Byers and Mabel O’Neil.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Titus officiating.

Interment will be in Valier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Punxsutawney or the Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Corsica.
