Soon enough, school will be out and the local hangout in town will once again be the public library.

The library just finished complete renovations, including a meeting room, a media room, an improved children's library and a spiced-up teenagers’ room.

Pictured at Saturday’s open house event are (front, from left) Debbie Sherry, Kathy Smith, Amanda Hornack, Judy Hampton; (back) Coral Ellshoff, Lara Little, Cassandra Bellerillo, Cindy Depp-Hutchinson, Roz Pete and Peggy Johnston.
