Nancy Lee (Mahorney) Cook, 65

Nancy Lee (Mahorney) Cook, 65, of DuBois, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 10, 1948, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late James and Marie Mahorney.

She was married to Roy F. Cook, Sr., who preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons, Roy F. Cook, Jr. and wife Debbie of Virginia Beach, Va., Jerry Cook of Punxsutawney, James B. Cook of Punxsutawney, Kevin Cook and wife Laura of DuBois and Ronald L. Cook of Big Run; two brothers, James Mahorney of Maryland and Joseph Mahorney and wife Cathy of Lancaster, Pa.; and three sisters, Robin Schlorb of Maryland, Patricia Reedy and husband Clifford of Washington, D.C., and Barbara Coleman and husband Jamie of Maryland.

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Mahorney.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation, and the funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
