More Little League All-Star brackets released

The remaining 2011 District 10 Little League All-Star brackets have been released, as Punxsy's 10- & 11-year-old baseball and softball and Senior League softball teams now know their postseason schedules.

Punxsy's Senior League softball All-Stars will play first of the three teams. They will visit Brockway Tuesday, June 28. The winner of that game will play Thursday, June 30, at DuBois.

Punxsy's 10- & 11-year-old baseball All-Stars will have two more weeks to prepare, as they will play Tuesday, July 5, at DuBois. That winner will play the Warren-St. Marys victor Thursday, July 7, while the losers of both games will drop to the losers' bracket.

Punxsy's 10- & 11-year-old softball All-Stars are unopposed in the District 10 tournament.

Punxsy will have a month to get ready for the sectional tournament, which takes place July 22-24 in Edinboro. The sectional tournament will be hosted by McLane Little League.

Punxsy's six other All-Star brackets were released last week. Little League softball will start Thursday vs. Brockway; Minor League baseball will begin Sunday vs. St. Marys; Little League baseball (at St. Marys) and Minor League softball (at DuBois) will commence Monday; Junior League baseball will start Friday, July 1 at DuBois; and Junior League softball will begin Thursday, July 7 vs. DuBois.
