Maxine L. Fike, 83, Punxsutawney, formerly of Coolspring, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at Wellington Heights.

She was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Hawthorne, a daughter of the late Richard P. and Blanche C. (Radaker) Hartzell.

She married Percy L. Fike, who preceded her in death Sept. 16, 2009.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, Richard F. Hartzell and wife Donna of Linesville, and Robert L. Hartzell and wife Dee of Oxford, Fla.; and two sisters, Wilda L. Prince and husband Hugh of Albany, Ga., and Pauline A. Wilson and husband Tom of Pulaski.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca M. Hartzell and Jane Hartzell, and a brother, William Hartzell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Coolspring Cemetery.
