Matthew Edward Brestovich, 34, of Knightstown, Ind., formerly of Punxsutawney, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.

He was born Feb. 6, 1978, in Indiana, Pa., a son of Larry Edward Brestovich of Rossiter and Cheryl M. (Huey) Brestovich of Ringgold.

Oct. 16, 2004, he married Brittani Danielle Shock.

She survives and resides in Knightstown, Ind.

Matt enjoyed spending time with his children.

His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents and wife, surviving relatives include three children, Coltin Matthew, Olencia Brianne and Jeriah Maxarek Brestovich, all of Knightstown, Ind.; a sister, Mandi Brestovich of Ringgold; a niece, Hannah; and a nephew Cody, of Ringgold.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jim Becker.

Interment will be private at Zion Cemetery, Reynoldsville.

Memorial donations may be made in Matt’s memory to Children’s Hospital, 4401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
