Mary R. Goyette, 93, died Thursday, July 21, 2011.
She was born in Barnesboro and raised in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Isaia) Goyette.

Miss Goyette worked in Pittsburgh for the National Supply Company and, for more than 20 years, for the State Department in Washington, D.C.

Surviving relatives include her loving nieces and nephews; Rose Marie Goyette, Nick and the late Janice Goyette, Jim and Chris Goyette, Sam Puleio and Bill and Regina Goyette.

She was especially grateful for the loving care of Mary Esther Castello, Interim Hospice and the staff of Country Meadows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Grace Puleio, Nick, Andy, Pete, Joe, Tony and Dr. Bill Goyette.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home Inc., 101 Third St., Carnegie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at St. Bernard Church.
