Mary Margaret Paris, 58

Mary Margaret Paris, 58, of Reynoldsville, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born May 20, 1955, a daughter of the late Raymond Edwin Long Sr. and Irene Catherine (Felisky) Long.

Mary was the wife of James C. Paris, and they had 29 great years together.

She enjoyed flower gardening and working around her home.

Mary worked as a housekeeper, in which she took much pride.

Through her care and dedication to her work, many of her customers also became her friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Brandy Spence and husband Josh of Reynoldsville; two grandchildren, Paul and Emily Spence; three brothers, Raymond Long, George Long and Debbie Gotwald, and Robert Long, all of Anita; and one sister, Rita Greenblatt of Punxsutawney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney, officiated by Pastor Tom Spiker.

Memorial donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Salvation Army, 229 West Mahoning St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
