Mary L. Molinengo, 79

Mary L. Molinengo, 79, Rossiter, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.

She was born Sept. 8, 1932, in Punxsutawney, a daughter and one of 12 children of the late Walter and Clara (Wojtkowski) Mocek.

Mrs. Molinengo was the last surviving member of her family.

July 2, 1955, she married Arnold Molinengo, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2003.

Mary enjoyed being a volunteer at Punxsutawney Area Hospital from 2005 until April of 2012. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers at home.

She loved her children and grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include a son, William J. Molinengo and wife Virginia of Brookville; two daughters, Kathryn Catalano and husband Brad of Washington, Pa., and Elaine Molinengo of Cranberry Township; and five grandchildren, Angela Holbert and husband Andy, Emily and Eric Catalano, and Katie and Lisa Molinengo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 11 siblings.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Rossiter.
