Mary Eleanor (Eddy) Wulfert, 76

Mary Eleanor (Eddy) Wulfert, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Adams) Eddy.

She was married to Thomas Wulfert, who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2001.

She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed playing Bingo, needlepoint and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Margaret Eddy; two sons, Daniel Wulfert and wife Jane and Charles Wulfert, all of Rochester Mills, Pa.; two daughters, Lois McKee of Punxsutawney and Rita Lippert and husband Rick of Marion Center; a brother, Thomas Eddy and wife Paula of Rochester Mills; and Cindy Saxton of Punxsutawney.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; two sons; and a son-in-law, Richard McKee.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Brauer officiating.

Interment will be in Mahoning Union Cemetery at Marchand, Pa.

The family requests that donations in memory of Mrs. Wulfert be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 408, Clarion, PA 16214.
