Martha F. (Davidson) Lovelace, 96

Martha F. Lovelace, 96, Punxsutawney, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at her home.

She was born on May 8, 1916, in Mahaffey, a daughter of the late George F. and Martha Ann Davidson.

On Dec. 30, 1941, she married Thomas L. Lovelace, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1986.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, church, being with her family, cooking, reading her Bible, and word puzzles.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Phyllis Giroskey and special friend Jim Uplinger, and Frances Manners and Jeff Osburn, all of Punxsutawney; two sons, Thomas Lovelace and William Lovelace and wife Cathy, all of Punxsutawney; grandchildren Rebecca and Kevin Nelson, Douglas and Joelle Manners, Tami Lovelace and Nate Bare, Jody and Kyle Acre, and Matthew and Ashley Lovelace; step-grandchildren Paula and George Heider, Michelle and Rich Depp, Dustin and Dana Sones, and Lindsay and Tyler Smith; great-grandchildren Samantha Heider, Sydney Depp, Liam Depp, Hannah Sones and Jacob Sones; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Buffy.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James A. Davidson and E. Eugene Davidson; three sisters, Ruth A. Kuntz, Maude E. Rosenberger and Louise Bell; and a grandson, William T. Lovelace.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Roger McGary officiating.

Interment will be in Burnside Cemetery, Burnside.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Mrs. Lovelace, may be made to the Mt. Carmel Church, 3023 Clover Run Road, Mahaffey, PA 15757.
