Marjorie “Marge” Gresock, 85

Marjorie “Marge” Gresock, 85, Grove City, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Grove City Medical Center, Grove City.

She was born Sept. 3, 1928, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late William W. and Virginia (Shomo) Blair.

On July 18, 1948, she married John A. Gresock Sr., who survives.

She was Presbyterian by faith.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, golfing, the Steelers and the Pirates, and she also helped mentor the bantam youth bowling league.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Linda S. McFadden of Grove City; a grandson, Keith E. McFadden and fiancé Julie Mayberry of Grove City;
three great-grandchildren, Kristen K. McFadden of New Castle, Cameron D. McFadden of Grove City, and Samantha Mayberry of Grove City; and one great-great granddaughter, Adrianna McFadden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John A. Gresock Jr.; three brothers, W. Wilson Blair, David M. Blair and John T. Blair; and two sisters, Velma I. Means and Dorothy Neely.

Friends will be received from 11 to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at the funeral home, with the Reverend Thomas Funka officiating.

Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
