Margy D. Kuntz, 77, Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Dec. 22, 1933, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late John Kopnitsky, Effie (Reams) Kopnitsky and Ruby (Geist) Kopnitsky.

Ms. Kuntz worked for Lorree Footwear and Standard Pennant Company. Later, she was a seamstress for the Stitchers Mound.

Surviving relatives include three sons, Jerry Kuntz of Reynoldsville, Dan Kuntz and wife Pam of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Jeffrey Kuntz of Punxsutawney; a daughter, Tammy Caylor and husband Greg of Ft. Lauderdale; a step-brother, Dave Kopnitsky and wife Bernie of Ohio; a step-sister, Marcella Anderson of Brookville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Kopnitsky.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at the McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Don Bair officiating.

Private interment to follow at Lakelawn Memorial Park.
