Margaret L. Stiteler Orr, 70

Margaret L. Stiteler Orr, 70, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in 1941 in North Mahoning Township, a daughter of the late James H. and June L. (Van Horn) Coon.

She married Richard Orr, who survives, of Indiana.

Mrs. Orr was an active member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Smicksburg for her entire life.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a son, Douglas L. Stiteler of Shelocta; a daughter, Debra D. Rankin of Shelocta; a step-son, Richard W. Orr and wife Deborah of Hillsboro, N.J.; a step-daughter, Stacie Mann and husband Garth of Raleigh, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Jason Stiteler, Heather Stiteler, BreAnn Rankin, Andrea Ruddock, Bobbi Haynes, Emily Orr, Alex Orr and Hayden Mann; a great-grandson, Isaac Schreckengost; and the following siblings, Ronald Coon and wife Barbara of Punxsutawney; Cynthia Miller and husband Richard of Punxsutawney; Carol Lettie of Garden City, Mich.; William E. Coon and wife Carol of Gaines; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald L. Stiteler, in 1988; and by two brothers, Robert J. Coon and Allen L. “Mike” Coon.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at the Salem Lutheran Church, Smicksburg, with the Rev. Arlene Schweitzer officiating.

Interment will be at the Smicksburg Cemetery.
