Margaret E. Timblin, 89

Margaret E. Timblin, 89, of Rossiter, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mrs. Timblin was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Sagamore. She was the daughter of the late Scott W. and Maude (Brady) Hill.

Margaret attended the First Baptist Church.

She worked for the Company Store in Sagamore, Troutman’s in Indiana and
the Adrian Hospital before retirement.

She spent her winters in Arizona and loved camping, fishing, boating, bike riding, cooking and baking.

Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Timblin.

Margaret is survived by a daughter, Peggy Burkett of Rossiter and friend Bernie Annarino of Punxsutawney; a stepson, Jack Timblin and wife Connie of McClure; a stepdaughter, Carol Boonie and husband Ed of McClure, a brother, Wendell Hill of Indiana; two grandchildren, Robert Burkett and wife Jessica and Jennifer Yount; two great-grandchildren, Jason Burkett and Tyson Burkett; two step-grandchildren, Michael Timblin and wife Paula and Jackie Feterholf and husband Mark; and several step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Seitzinger; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Pendley officiating.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Rossiter.
