Margaret E. Smith, 95, Marion Center, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late William and Alice (Aber) Haag.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Campbell, Harold Hetrick and Meigs Smith.

She was a member of the Marion Center Presbyterian Church and the New Salem Presbyterian Church in Ohioville. She was a member of the Mahoning Hills Senior Center and loved bingo and gardening.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, June Knott-Shaffer of Beaver Falls; three brothers, Fredrick Haag and wife Mary Jane of Crafton, Robert Haag and wife Thelma of Oliveburg and John Haag of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren, Robert Knott and wife Denise, Kimberly Trojcak, and Kirk Shaffer and wife Jeanne; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Knott, Kacy Trojcak and Kira Trojcak; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Roy and Harvey Haag; and a sister, Lillian Bish.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at the McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor James Hurd officiating.

A private interment will follow at Smith Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
