Margaret Agnes Holes, 90

Margaret Agnes Holes, 90, of Mahaffey, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at her home in Mahaffey.

She was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Madera, Pa., a daughter of John Alexander and Suzie (Davis) Alexander.

She was a lifelong member of McPherron C&MA Church.

She was a graduate of Madera High School.

Mrs. Holes was a homemaker and loved to crochet, quilt and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Nancy Wollenhaupt and husband Ken of Rock Hill, S.C.; two sons, Donald Holes and wife Diana of Ransomville, N.Y., and Tom Holes and wife Janice of Mahaffey; six granddaughters, Theresa Shaffer, Rebecca Hayward, Rhonda McElhatten, Kelly Lewis, Bethany Patterson and Tiffany Holes; a grandson, Clint Holes; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Joe" Holes, on Nov. 11, 1980; a son, Gary Holes, on July 31, 2010; her father, John Alexander; her mother, Suzie Davis; and four brothers, John, Donald, Irvin and Gerald.

Memorial funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the Mahaffey Christian Missionary Alliance Church with the Rev. Myron Wattenphal officiating.

Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.
