Man’s body found in White Township, Indiana County

February 13, 2013

INDIANA — Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker said an autopsy of a local man found Monday in White Township, Indiana County, has ruled out evidence of foul play.

The body of 50-year-old Jeffrey Moretti of Indiana was discovered at about 8:35 a.m. Monday near the rear entrance of the offices of Gazette Printers after employees reported for work.

Baker said the body did not appear to have indications of unexplainable trauma, and the building was not forcibly intruded upon.

Moretti was pronounced dead at the scene at 9 a.m.

Toxicology results are pending in the case, but Baker said he believes that the death was most likely the result of natural causes.

State police and the Indiana County District Attorney also responded to the scene during the initial investigation.
