Lucille May Grossi, 80

Lucille May Grossi, 80, Punxsutawney, formerly of Anita, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1931, in Anita, the daughter of the late Roy C. and Julia (Anderson) Walker.

Oct. 23, 1973, she married Joseph Secondo Grossi, who preceded her in death April 25, 1996.

Mrs. Grossi worked as a tax collector.

She enjoyed playing Bingo and gambling at Seneca. She really loved and enjoyed the company of her yellow cat.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Susan Hardick of Shippenville; a sister, Emily Hicks and husband Jack of Carrollton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Walker; and a sister, Anne Jacobson.

There will be no visitation. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
