Louise M. Smith, 90, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 10, 1922, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late William and Esther (Vanderpool) Henneman.

On May 29, 1946, she married Blair E. Smith, who preceded her in death on April 15, 1978.

She formerly attended the Punxsutawney Church of God and the Punxsutawney Alliance Church.

She enjoyed puzzles and cooking, but most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Ed and wife Pam of Punxsutawney, Terry and wife Mary of Punxsutawney, Barry and wife Carol of Pittsburgh and Randy and wife Patti of Punxsutawney; a brother, Clair Henneman of Niagara Falls; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Henneman; and a daughter, Tammy Smith.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor John Buchmann officiating.

Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Cloe.
