Lorraine D. "Scott" Fetterman, 80, of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Mr. Fetterman was born Aug. 30, 1932, in DeLancey, a son of the late James C. and Linnie (Black) Fetterman.

He is survived by his wife, Marian (Goulish) Fetterman of Punxsutawney.

He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church.

Mr. Fetterman worked for Symmco 10 years before retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening, yard work, horseshoes and, most of all, time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Marian, he is survived by a son, Michael S. Fetterman and fianceé Amy of Punxsutawney; a daughter, Tami S. McFarland and husband Randy of Rossiter; a granddaughter, Johanna Smelko and husband Curtis of Punxsutawney; a brother, Kenneth W. Fetterman of Punxsutawney; a special sister-in law, Anne Wallis and husband (Didrik) of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry Fetterman, Ernest Fetterman, James Fetterman and Irvin "Chub" Fetterman; and five sisters, Mary Green, Virginia Jones, Georgia Enterline, Norma Jean "Bubbles" Witherow and Evelyn McElwain.

There will be no viewing.

A Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church with Fr. Simeon Sibenek as celebrant.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

Memorial contributions may be made to Punxsutawney Central Fire Department or to St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church.
