The Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center has a new, colorful exhibit that is sure to catch the eye of the youngsters who visit. The Hands On Weather (HOW) backpacks exhibit was put up on Aug. 7 and is already proving to be quite popular with visitors. Pictured here, (from left) Amanda Hornack, director of education and programming, works on weather-related activities that can be found in the backpack with Emma Young, Madison Young and Gage Young.

For more info on the HOW packets, see Monday's print edition of The Spirit.
