Duke

PUNXSUTAWNEY — One local man is taking to the media and Internet — in addition to reaching out for help to anyone who will listen — in locating his missing dog.

For almost 10-1/2 weeks, Larry August, a local man who lives south of Punxsutawney, has been searching for his beloved dog.

Duke, a rust-colored miniature pinscher, went missing on Sept. 13, along with his pal, Cherokee.

There is currently a $500 reward for anyone who is able to bring Duke home.

For more information or for anyone wishing to help in this search, visit facebook.com/groups/helpfindduke.

August can be reached, day or night, by calling 724-464-4965.
