Punxsy boxer Adam Littlejohn scored a decision win Nov. 3 at William Penn Hotel's Annual Boxing Show in downtown Pittsburgh. Littlejohn battled Larry Blakely, of Pittsburgh's Third Avenue Gym, in a 165-pound open-division bout. Blakely, a solid left-handed fighter, wasn't able to overcome Littlejohn's hand speed and defensive skills in the three-round match. With the win, Littlejohn improved to 26-12. Littlejohn and teammate Tahree Caroll were slated for action Dec. 3 at IUP's annual show in Indiana, but the event was recently cancelled. Both boxers train at Helman's Gym in Punxsutawney and said they would like to extend their appreciation to the Elk Run Firehall for the use of its facility.
