Local artist Britney Garman has found her passion in metal art.

A graduate of Triangle Tech, she has applied her educational background, along with her natural skills of metal welding, to create three brilliant pieces of artwork.

Pictured is Garman with her dog, Lady, standing between some of her pieces, which include a huge metal moose, a small metal dog and a sign for Stahlman's Country Store.

The pieces are currently on display outside of Stahlman's Restaurant.

Pictured here are members of the Catholic Daughters of America — a group celebrating its 95th anniversary this year.
