A young man with local ties — Jacob Mahan, who resides in Camarillo, Calif. with parents Dan and Jacqui, but is grandson to Bob and Phyllis Mahan and nephew to Joe Mahan (pictured, right with Jacob), all of Punxsutawney — is playing baseball on the NCAA's largest stage, as he and his nationally-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks are currently playing in the College World Series in Omaha, Neb. Arkansas is 2-0 in the tournament thus far, with their most recent victory coming Monday over South Carolina, 2-1. The Razorbacks will be nationally televised today, as they take on either South Carolina or Kent State.
