Lisle McHenry Jobe, 86

Lisle McHenry Jobe, 86, Indiana, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 8, 1924, in Indiana, a son of the late Lisle M. and Sarah G. McHenry Jobe.

He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Mr. Jobe lived his entire life in Indiana, where he was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers, and the Pittsburgh Zoo and National Aviary. He was very active at the Indiana Senior Action Center. He retired from FMC where he was employed as a draftsman.

Surviving relatives include three sons, David L. Jobe and wife Donna of Indiana, Paul W. Jobe and fiancee Donna Banko of Indiana, and Brian K. Jobe and wife Marian of Bellevue; a daughter, Sandra Smelko and husband Dennis of Indiana; five grandchildren, Julianne and Jared Smelko, Adrienne and Shane Jobe and Sarah Jobe; a sister-in-law, Gene Jobe; a niece, Judy Jobe; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Jobe.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. in Indiana.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Graystone Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard L. Cassel officiating.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
