Lions Club helping local food banks take a bite out of hunger problem

The Punxsutawney Lions Club recently made contributions to numerous food banks in the area. Pictured here are (from left) Roger Steele, Lions Club; Pastor Al Kimmel, Cross Town Ministries Food Bank; Capt. Keith Jache, Salvation Army Food Bank; Joan Lowmaster, First Church of God Food Bank; Monika Bizousky, president, St. Vincent De Paul Society/SS.C.D.; and Denny Rebuck, treasurer, Punxsutawney Lions Club. The Lions Club gave each food bank a check for $500.
