Linda Ann (Pearce) Fry, 66

Linda Ann (Pearce) Fry, affectionately known as “Nanny," 66, of Westover, Pa., died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Cecil E. and Rhoda V. (Thomas) Pearce, she was born on May 12, 1947, in Spangler, Pa.

Linda was a graduate of the Purchase Line High School Class of 1965.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Glen Campbell American Legion, Post 435.

Nanny devoted her life to caring for her family, whom she loved dearly, especially her nine grandkids.

She was a hard worker who was committed to following through with every task and objective she pursued and encountered in life.

Linda married Donald P. Fry on July 4, 1993, and they shared almost 20 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Donald of Westover, Pa; two children, Jennifer Huey and husband Bill of Glen Campbell, Pa., and Richard Cooper and wife Deb of Clymer; three stepsons, Donald Fry Jr. of Cherry Tree, Pa., Norman Fry and wife Tonya of Westover and Arden Fry and wife Mary Jo of Westover; and nine grandchildren, Dylan and Derek Huey, Tyler and Izabella Cooper and Vincent, Macey, Zachary, Colton and Jaden Fry.

Nanny is also survived by three siblings, Lynn Freno and husband Robert of Burnside, Pa.; David Pearce Sr. and wife Carolyn of Burnside and Connie Yingling and husband John of Cherry Tree.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kevin Pearce; a
great-nephew, Stephen Yamrick; and her in-laws, Ross and LaVerne Formeck.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, Pa., where a 4 p.m. memorial service will be held that afternoon immediately following the hour of visitation.

Pastor Russell Havener will officiate.

Family and friends are invited to continue their time of remembrance over a meal that will be served in Nanny’s honor at the Glen Campbell American Legion Post 435.
