Day number one is in the books for "Hot Dog Days," a fundraiser for the Punxsutawney Memorial Library, at Fezell's County Market in the Groundhog Plaza.

Taking a turn at serving up "the dogs" on Monday afternoon were some of the administrators from the Punxsutawney Area School District.

Pictured (from left) are Dr. Keith Wolfe, superintendent; Susan H. Robertson, business administrator; Natalie Enslen, supervisor of Special Education; Dave London, principal at Punxsutawney Area High School; and Richard Britten, principal at Punxsutawney Area Middle School; serving Debbie Brauer (far left) her hot dog, chips and a drink for $2.

The hot dog lunch or dinner will be served all week every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Friday, when it will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All proceeds go to benefit the Punxsutawney Memorial Library.
