Leroy Dallas Bloom, 71

Leroy Dallas Bloom, 71, of Punxsutawney, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mr. Bloom was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Ralph and Effie (McHenry) Bloom.

Leroy was a retired farmer and truck driver and was the owner of Bloom Trucking.

He enjoyed going to antique tractor pulls with his friends.

He is survived by his sons, Rodrick Bloom and Kevin Wayne Bloom, both of Punxsutawney; a daughter, Justina Zambory of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Kevin Bloom, Jr. and Kayla Bloom, both of Punxsutawney, and Nickia Glatt and Shane Glatt; three great-grandchildren, Julia Zambory, Lyric Alderton and Mercedes Marie Ginnery; and good friend Pat Hayes of Punxsutawney.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Janice Bracken officiating.

Interment will follow at Round Top Cemetery, Trade City.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Bloom's name to the American
Diabetes Association at 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
