Laird B. Braughler, 89, of Monroeville, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lucille (Brennan) Braughler; father of Beverly (Jim) Spare and Robert (Julie) Braughler; grandfather of Adam and Kate Braughler; brother of Lorraine Sterner, Dolan and Duane Braughler, and the late Maralene Emerick, Bernadine Sensabaugh and Ronald Braughler.
Laird was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and had been employed by GMAC, where he was a dealer relations manager.
He also drove cars for Day Chevrolet.
Friends will be received at the Gene H. Corl Inc. Funeral Chapel & Cremation Center of Monroeville, 4335 Northern Pike (one block East of Mosside Blvd.-Route 48).
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Newlonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 4600 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA 15668.
Everyone is asked to please meet at church.
Interment will be private.
