Lady Chucks win opener, Chucks cruise to second-straight win

April 4, 2013

A week later than expected, the Punxsy softball team took advantage of a clear and slightly warmer afternoon arriving on Thursday. The Lady Chucks proved to be too much for the Lady Owls of Bradford by a 14-2 margin in a 10-run rule five-inning affair. Pictured here, pitcher Monica Cameron follows through on one of her pitches. The Lady Chucks won their opening game against Bradford in convincing fashion, and the Chucks baseball squad downed the Owl boys' squad to improve to 2-0 on the season.
