The Lady Chucks volleyball team honored both its seniors and award winners at the annual banquet Sunday night at the Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawney. Varsity head coach Lisa Kephart and junior varsity head coach Megan Decker each delivered awards, and the seniors were honored for their time and service to the program. Each player was given a framed photograph from this season as a keepsake. Pictured with their awards are (front, from left) Sydney Weaver (team-nominated MVP and varsity leader in blocks and kills); Chelsea Engeholm (varsity leader in digs); Brooke Doney (varsity leader in aces); Ivy Phillips (JV rookie of the year); Shaina Painter (JV most-versatile); (back) Emilee States (JV most-improved); Tori Martin (varsity coach's award); Cassie Cook (varsity leader in assists); Taylor Newcome (varsity most improved); Janie Depp-Hutchinson (varsity most-verstaile); and Ashley and Emily Reitz (co-winners of the JV coach's award).
