As summer finally makes its presence known, the Punxsutawney Memorial Library is ready to go with its 2013 Summer Reading program.

The program, held each summer, will have its official kick-off party on June 17.

This year’s theme is “Dig Into Reading," and will focus on things beneath the surface. The program is open to children 18 months through 18 years of age, and those wishing to participate must register either at the library or online.

To register online, visit www.punxsutawneylibrary.org, or stop in at 301 East Mahoning St., Barclay Square.
