Kevin Dale Cameron, 57

Kevin Dale Cameron, 57, of Rossiter, died on Oct. 30, 2013, at home.

He was born on Sept. 5, 1956, the son of Ledzel “Sam” and Vernetta (Peterson) Cameron.

On March 19, 1977, he married his best friend, Cynthia Ewing. She survives.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Superior Energy Resources of Brockway.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, going four wheeling on Sundays with his family, hunting and building things. He loved music and a good joke.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Corey M. Cameron and Nicole Musser from Pittsburgh and Joshua Cameron and wife Erin from Punxsutawney; one daughter, Lyndsey Cameron and Ryan Goodenow of Rossiter; three grandchildren, Dylan Bender, Aiden Cameron, and Harper Cameron; three brothers, Gary Cameron and wife Shirley of Rossiter, Denny Cameron of Rossiter, and Greg Cameron and wife Johnna of Punxsutawney; and one sister, Karen Cameron of Rossiter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Don Brauer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
