Kenneth Lee Anderson, Sr., 62, of Norfolk, Va., formerly of Punxsutawney, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, in Norfolk, Va.

He was born Jan. 17, 1951, in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late William and Lucille (Depp) Anderson.

He was an automobile mechanic and worked for many years at Midas Muffler in Norfolk, Va.

He is survived by three daughters, Christina States and fiance Shawn Munoz of Punxsutawney, Patricia Latta and husband Gregg of Punxsutawney, and Stacy Mehalic and husband Tom of Punxsutawney; one son, Kenneth Anderson, Jr. and wife Tina of Punxsutawney; three brothers, William Anderson and wife, Mary of Virginia Beach, Va., Irvin Anderson and wife Donna of Norfolk, Va., and Harry Anderson of Norfolk, Va.; four sisters, Betty Ross and husband Robert of Big Run, Linda Beck and husband Michael of DuBois, Judy Smith and husband Jack of Georgia and Faith Kunselman and husband Don of Summerville.

He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Peterman, and one brother, Fred Anderson.

Friends will be received at Richard L. Fait Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, from 2 to 6 p.m.

A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with pastor William Foster officiating.
