Kenneth C. Reiter Jr., 69, of Reynoldsville passed away at 3:26 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013, at his home.

Born March 4, 1944, in Punxsutawney, Kenneth was the son of the late Kenneth C. Reiter Sr. and Nola D. Nichols Reiter.

On May 25, 1963, he married Sandra L. Jones Reiter, of Reynoldsville, who survives.

He was a 1962 graduate of Reynoldsville High School and a retired employee of Stockdale Mine Supply in Frostburg, Pa.

Kenneth served with the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by two sons, Kenneth L. Reiter and wife Karolyn of Croker, Mo., and Jeffrey Reiter and wife Heather of Reynoldsville; two daughters, Debra L. Harris and husband Robert and Stephanie M. Thompson, all of Reynoldsville; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Reiter and wife Deanne of Emporium, Pa.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Daniel J. Reiter.

Calling hours will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the church, officiated by Rev. Thomas Carr and Rev. Leo C. Cramer.

Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville.
