Kathleen Ann "Kass" Deyarmin, 44

Kathleen Ann "Kass" Deyarmin, 44, Punxsutawney, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at UPMC-Mercy in Pittsburgh.

She was born Sept. 20, 1966, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Richard W. Deyarmin of Cherry Tree and Kathryn (Rafferty) Deyarmin of Youngsville, who survive.

Miss Deyarmin was a devoted animal lover. This love of all animals led her to rescue as many as she could. In addition to many interests, she was always an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, surviving relatives include her lifelong companion, Lenny Ernest of Punxsutawney; a brother, Richard Deyarmin of Youngsville; two sisters, Jennifer Oliphant and husband Jason of Warren, and Char Costanzo and fiancée Timothy Davis of Wilkes Barre; and five nieces and nephews, Nathian Deyarmin, Keyanna Oliphant, Brennon Oliphant, Emily Costanzo and Abigail Costanzo.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
