Katherine D. “Kae” Fleming, 92

Katherine D. Fleming, 92, Connecticut, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, in Norwalk, Conn.

She was born July 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Carl D. and Florence (Miller) Dock.

On Oct. 11, 1942, she married Harry C. Fleming, Jr., who preceded her in death on June 13, 1990.

She was an avid golfer and held many positions at the Longshore Women’s Golf Association in Westport, Conn., and enjoyed paddle tennis and Broadway.

Surviving relatives include three sons, Harry C. Fleming, III, of Woodbury, Conn., Carl D. Fleming and wife Caryn of Seymour, Conn., and Robert D. Fleming; a daughter, Kathleen M. Fleming of New York City, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Blair C. Fleming; and a sister, Norma Anchors and husband Jim of Murrysville, Pa.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Dock; and two sisters, Mary Godeck and Margaret
“Peggy” Cochrane.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Brett Swanson officiating.

Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery.
