Karen Lynn Shaffer, 54, of Glen Campbell, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Feb. 3, 1958, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Sam and Ellen Marie Haslego.

She was married to Theodore Shaffer, who survives.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a son, Scott Mohney; and a brother, Dusty Haslego, both of Punxsutawney; and two granddaughters.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation, and services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
