Karen Elaine Campbell, 61, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 6, 1950, in Starford, a daughter of the late Darl and Alice (Paul) Pounds.

Ms. Campbell was a homemaker and a member of the F.O. Eagles. She was also a member of the Woodland Avenue United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Wesley Campbell and wife Lisa, and Ronald McCoy and wife Jennifer, all of Punxsutawney; a daughter, Malinda Campbell and friend Ken Wilson of Huntingdon; a sister, Martha Wineberg of Reynoldsville; four grandchildren, Nola Campbell, Dylan Campbell, Sierra Hughes and Anika Campbell; her companion, Clair McKinstry; her life-long best friends, Danise and Wendell Elkin, and Tina Bowser and family; a niece, Christa Cramer and Keven Knarr; a nephew, Dale Pounds and wife Barb; her former husband, William Campbell; and Charlie Brown and Tippy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Richard Pounds; a brother-in-law, Roy Cramer; and a grandchild, Chase Campbell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Alfred H. Kimmel officiating.

Interment will be in the Coolspring Cemetery.
