Judy Marie (Beatty) Miller, 49

Judy Marie (Beatty) Miller, 49, of Anita, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.

She was born March 18, 1963, in Brookville, a daughter of the late John Alfred and Sally Vallette (McMillen) Beatty.

She was a 1982 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School.

On May 7, 2005, she married Samuel Joseph Miller, Jr., who survives.

Judy had previously worked at County Market, Frank ‘n Steins, the PA Memorial Home and Christ the King Manor.

She enjoyed quilting, camping, fishing and hunting with her husband.

She was always working beside her husband on any little project or task.

She will be sadly missed.

She was very proud of her son, Jason, and loved him dearly.

In addition to her husband, Sam, surviving relatives include a son, Jason Humble of Worthville; a step-daughter, Brandy Foltz of DuBois; two step-grandchildren, Chase and Colden; a brother, Terry Beatty of Punxsutawney; three sisters, Janet Beatty of Punxsutawney, Wanda
Barker and husband Eddie of Clarion and Mary Ann Fetterman and Paul Mechling of Reynoldsville; and a special friend, Doreen Allison of Reynoldsville.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jim Lantz.

Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
