Judy Kay Bowser, 58, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1953, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Strawcutter) Lingenfelter.

She was married to Richard W. Bowser, who survives.

Mrs. Bowser was a nurse's aide.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two daughters, Dawnette Bowser and Candace Bowser, both of Punxsutawney: a brother, James L. Bouch and wife Sue of Gowanda, N.Y.; two sisters, Beverly Killian and Darlene Parsell, both of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren, Devon Kessler, Alexis Roy and Haden Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Vandervort; and a brother, Wilbur Bouch.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Chestnut Grove Independent Church, with Pastor Joe Spack officiating.
