Joyce C. (Judy) Reiter, 74

Joyce C. (Judy) Reiter, 74, Reynoldsville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at home.

She was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Clair Mulhollan and Dorothy Hughes Mulhollan.

Sept. 14, 1957, she married Phillip Merle Reiter, who survives, of Reynoldsville.

Mrs. Reiter was a 1955 graduate of Reynoldsville High School. She retired as the First United Methodist Church secretary after 38 years of service.

Judy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville.

She also was involved in the Good Samaritan Class, United Methodist Women and the Reynoldsville Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 220.

She loved flower gardening and riding her bicycle, and she had a passion for her family and church family.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a daughter, Kimberly L. Tagliaferre (Joseph) of Brockway; a son, David P. Reiter (Kimberly) of Reynoldsville; and four grandchildren, Brandon D. Reiter (Ashley) of Cape Charles, Va., Wesley J. Tagliaferre of Rochester,
N.Y., Brittany N. Reiter of DuBois and Jeremy P. Tagliaferre of Woods Hole, Mass.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Ronald Mulhollan.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, 504 Jackson St., Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the church with the Rev. Thomas Carr and the Rev. Leo Cramer officiating.

The Eastern Star is holding a special service.

Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.
