Joseph F. Ciccone, 84, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Wellington Heights Personal Care Home.

He was born May 19, 1929, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Giovanna (Manacchio) and Felice Ciccone.

He was a member of S.S.C.D.

He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing bingo, socializing and watching old movies on AMC.

He was a former member of the Army and Navy Club.

He worked for Lori’s Footwear in Big Run.

Surviving relatives include a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, Anthony Ciccone, Michael Ciccone, Mary Parise, Lucy Stefanelli and Louise McClure; a niece, JoAnn Sjoen; and two nephews, Anthony Parise and Patrick McClure.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2013, at S.S.C.D. with Monsignor Joseph Riccardo officiating.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
